How the prints are made: |

| The image is then carved with a variety of knives and gouges allowing the pencil lines and the material itself to dictate what is carved. As the carving progresses a series of rubbings and proof prints are made to help visualize the end result. |

Once
the blocks are carved they are printed one at a time - one color at a
time - on a vintage 1880’s Chandler and Price Pilot Press. |
